Registration

You can sign up for ReaX activities by filling out the registration form on the page for the specific activity at www.reax.be.

We strive to keep our groups actively engaged in our activities. That’s why we set a limit on the number of participants per session. Once an activity is full, you can sign up for the waiting list by emailing info@reax.be.

If a participant cancels, we’ll offer the opened-up spot to the first person on the waiting list. We’ll notify you of the available spot via email at the address you provided. To secure the offered spot, you must complete the online registration within three (3) calendar days of receiving our email. Failure to do so will result in your spot being offered to someone else on the waiting list. Your registration is not final until you receive a confirmation email from us.

If you have requested a quote, the activity will take place only after written confirmation via email and acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Billing and Payment

If you register for an activity via www.reax.be, you will receive a registration confirmation by email. Your registration is not final until you receive this confirmation. For individual registrations, payment must be made via Mollie.

Billing information and/or order forms can be added during the online registration process or emailed to info@reax.be.

If desired, you can request an invoice.

If you have requested and approved a quote via email, you will receive an invoice. Invoices issued after quote approval must be paid by bank transfer within 30 days of the invoice date.

Prices

Prices listed on the website are always in euros and, where applicable, include VAT.

At the end of the ordering process and on the invoice, the total amount, including the applicable VAT, is clearly displayed.

Prices listed on the website do not constitute a binding offer and may be changed by us at any time. Any price adjustment does not apply to orders that have already been completed (unless the originally listed price was clearly an error, in which case we will notify you by email).

Cancel registration?

A cancellation is only valid if sent via email to info@reax.be. The date the email is sent is the date that applies for the purposes of the cancellation policy.

You can cancel free of charge up to and including 2 weeks before the start of the activity. If you cancel after this date, you will be required to pay the full participation fee.

You are, of course, welcome to send a substitute in your place, and this change to your registration is free of charge. We would appreciate it if you could let us know via email.

Are you sick and unable to attend? In that case, you can cancel your registration free of charge upon presentation of a doctor’s note, which you must send to us (scanned) no later than 2 days after the training session. Please let us know no later than the start of the training session that you will not be attending due to illness.

If you cancel, you cannot under any circumstances transfer the amount already paid to another activity or to the same activity at a different time. If you are entitled to a refund, the amount due will be transferred to the bank account from which you originally made the payment.

If you do not meet the cancellation conditions and do not show up for the activity in question, you will forfeit the amount paid.

 Cancellation or Change by ReaX

ReaX may decide not to hold an activity if the required minimum number of registrations is not reached or in the event of force majeure. We will notify you of such a situation by email as soon as possible. In such cases, you are not entitled to damages or any other form of compensation. If a payment has already been made, it will be refunded to the bank account from which the payment was originally made. The following (among others) are considered force majeure: illness or other unexpected unavailability of the instructor, government measures, reasonable safety or health precautions, sudden unavailability of the reserved location or facilities, etc.

ReaX may also, for organizational reasons, hold an activity at a different location or time, or assign a different instructor than originally communicated. You will be notified of this as soon as possible. If you are unable to attend at the revised time, you may cancel the activity free of charge by notifying us immediately via email at info@reax.be.

Warranty and Liability

If Re-aX should be liable, such liability is limited to what is provided for in this provision.

Within the limits of these general terms and conditions, Re-aX is only liable for damages suffered by the other party if and to the extent that such liability is covered by its liability insurance. If, in such a case, Re-aX is obligated to compensate the other party for the damage, such compensation shall never exceed the amount of the payment made to Re-aX by the insurer, plus the deductible owed by Re-aX, per occurrence.

Re-aX, however, has the right, at its discretion, in such a case of liability as referred to in the preceding paragraph, to re-deliver similar items free of charge instead of paying compensation.

Re-aX is never liable for indirect damages, including consequential damages, lost profits, lost savings, and damages resulting from business interruption.

Re-aX’s liability is expressly excluded in all cases where there is no intent or gross negligence on its part.

Re-aX’s liability for attributable breaches and failure to perform an agreement arises only if the other party promptly and properly gives Re-aX written notice of default, setting a reasonable period for remedying the breach, and Re-aX continues to fail to fulfill its obligations in an attributable manner even after that period has elapsed. The notice of default

Any legal claim by the other party against Re-aX arising from a breach (whether or not attributable) or a tortious act by Re-aX against the other party, or on any other legal basis whatsoever, shall be barred by the statute of limitations 12 months after the other party first filed a complaint with Re-aX regarding the matter..

Force of circumstance

Re-aX is not obligated to fulfill any obligations if it is prevented from doing so as a result of force majeure.

Force circumstance is defined as any failure that cannot be attributed to Re-aX, because it is not due to its fault and is not for its account under the law, legal acts, or generally accepted business practices.

Without prejudice to any other rights to which it is entitled, in the event of force majeure, Re-aX has the right to suspend its (delivery) obligations for as long as the force majeure persists, or to terminate the agreement. In the event of force majeure, Re-aX is never obligated to pay damages.

Suspension and Termination

If the other party fails to fulfill one or more of its obligations properly or in a timely manner, any obligation of Re-aX—regardless of the name or basis under which it was entered into—toward the other party shall be suspended until the other party has fully fulfilled the relevant obligations.

Re-aX may terminate the agreement with the other party (in whole or in part) with immediate effect and without notice of default in the event that:

  • A material breach by the other party of an obligation incumbent upon it;
  • A (petition for) bankruptcy, suspension of payments, statutory debt restructuring, or liquidation of the other party.
  • An executory attachment has been levied on any asset of the other party.

If the agreement is terminated, Re-aX’s claims against the other party shall become immediately due and payable, without prejudice to Re-aX’s right to full compensation for damages.

If the other party cancels an agreement, and Re-aX accepts such cancellation, the other party shall owe Re-aX compensation equal to the costs incurred up to that point, plus 25% of the remaining amount of the agreed-upon price.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Belgian law applies to every agreement, offer, order, and other commitment to which these general terms and conditions apply.
Any disputes shall be settled by the competent Belgian court with jurisdiction based on Re-aX’s place of business, unless this conflicts with mandatory provisions of law.

These registration rules may be amended by Re-aX at any time. Amendments do not apply to registrations that have already become final.
If any provision of these registration rules is found to be void, this shall in no way affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The void provision will, where possible, be limited or amended to the extent permitted by law, in accordance with its original purpose.
These registration rules are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the courts of Antwerp, Mechelen division, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
